Tru Crew is a street art group operating in the Helsinki metropolitan area. The three members of the crew: Atmos, Naws and Rekt have painted graffiti since the mid 90’s. Their paintings often depict human and animal characters and emanate traditional graffiti-style imagery and spirit.

This piece is sort of split into two parts, both sides painted by one member of the crew. On the left, on the black and white side of the painting, a group of policymakers bemoan the graffiti artwork below, which they don’t recognize as legitimate art. On the colourful side of the piece, even the black-and-white panda knows that it’s more inspiring to look at the world in color and with an open mind.
