Kim Somervuori is an artist whose style is a combination of fine arts and street art. Somervuori graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in 2012. His art is characterized by a mix of various techniques: painting, drawing as well as collage technique. Somervuori often utilizes used materials in his works, and it is not unusual for him to pair traditional painting with old sneakers.

This peace is called “Graff till you abstract”. The artist did not have a specific vision about the end result, but instead he let himself improvise. The idea was to fade out the overly graphic imprint of the main medium, spray paint and concentrate on the versatility of the surfaces. Somervuori enjoys the fact that the painting can leave the viewer wondering it’s meanings but doesn’t give away obvious answers.
