Keran Hallit is a former logistic center that has been turned into a new center for culture and services. The inner yard of the center has gotten new colors through giant murals that decorate the walls. The former landing stages have been turned into performing stages.
Mummin Kullat (Grandma’s Darlings) is a three member pop / experimental folk group combining elements of folk, punk, and electronic music. These talented musicians use a wide variety of instruments from toy-synths to cello and clarinet. Multi voiced vocal harmonies and witty, somewhat ingenious lyrics makes this group very special.
Not to mention the overwhelming energy on stage!
Mummin kullat – No mitä:
“we were trio of two, now we are duo of tree”
Antti Autio is one of Finland’s most loved new gen singer-songwriters. Autio plays music with fresh and strong lyrics and winding guitar-based finnish music. Strong and heartfelt songs about longing and love have mesmerized listeners around Finland. Autio’s intense and atmospheric concerts are often sold out. Autio has an exceptional talent of imprisoning a listener to the space where the sense of time gets blurred.
Luukas Oja is a band that everyone is talking about right now and after you see their vibrant performance you won’t be wondering why! The band is known from their amazing live gigs and lyrics that are not afraid to take a stand. The band has performed in the biggest rock festivals of Finland.
Luukas Oja – Vielä tänään
Playing bittersweet punk rock, Puhelinseksi is full of emotion. Heartbreaking lyrics and catchy melodies delivered with merciless energy is the band’s trademark. Founded in Rovaniemi in 2015, the band has been touring around Finland and the rest of Europe at an accelerating pace.
From the beautiful punk of the 2016 mini-album We miss everything, Puhelinseksi has moved subtly towards deeper tones. In June 2022, the band’s second full-length album Vieraita toisillemme (Svart Records) is a more serious-looking rock album, which reached number 8 on Finland’s Official Physical album list, and Puhelinseksi was selected for YleX radio channel’s Läpimurto 2022 list.
We want Kerafest to be safe and fun for everybody, which is why we will also follow safer space policies.
